Betway overview
Betway brings the compliance machinery of a large international group to a Kenyan licence: clearly written terms, a proper complaints escalation path, and published responsible-gambling tooling including deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion. On 9 September 2026, however, betway.co.ke returned a Cloudflare 523 error for us, so we could not read its footer, its licence disclosure or its promotions page. The licence number this site previously published has been removed rather than carried forward on trust.
The reason Betway sits this high in our list is the withdrawal ceiling. Ksh 1,500,000 in a single day is the highest figure any operator in this index states, half again as much as Betika and three times most of the field. For a player who occasionally needs to move a large balance out at once, that number outweighs a point of margin. Note that M-Pesa applies its own wallet limits independently, so very large payouts are split across transfers or routed to a bank account.
On price, Betway prices European football, tennis and cricket keenly and its live interface is among the cleanest here, with fast cash-out and reliable settlement. Kenyan and regional African markets are covered but without the depth SportPesa gives them.
Promotionally we are publishing nothing. This site previously quoted a 100% welcome offer up to Ksh 25,000 at 10x turnover; we could not confirm it during this check, so it has been withdrawn. Betway historically runs free bets, cash-out offers and price boosts rather than standing cashback, and we have found no evidence of a cashback strand, which is why it scores zero there.
The consistent trade-off, when the site is reachable, is a demanding verification process before a first withdrawal and a casino lobby smaller than MozzartBet's. Nothing here is broken; it is a conservative product with a very generous ceiling and, at time of writing, a site we could not load.
Pros and cons

Verdict on Betway
Betway is the high-limit account: Ksh 1,500,000 a day is more than anything else licensed in Kenya states, and its responsible-gambling tooling is the best in this field. But we could not load betway.co.ke on 9 September 2026, which means its licence number and its bonus terms are unverified and are not published here. Treat the withdrawal ceiling as the reason to consider it, check the licence and terms yourself on the operator's own site, and do not act on any bonus figure you see quoted about Betway anywhere until you have seen it there.
